At our Timothy L. Johnson Club site, music, dance, art, drama, writing, painting and creating are all a part of the everyday activities that occur at this site. The kids are eager to exhibit their latest and greatest creations! Their motto is, “Attitude is a thing that makes a big difference!!!”

February is Black History Month, a time to remember, celebrate and pay tribute to the generations of African Americans who have made significant contributions to the history of the United States. Our Club members learned about some of these significant individuals and honored their accomplishments.

Our Fellowship Church site is making a lasting IMPRESSION! Thanks to our partnership with Fellowship Church, located on Tillman Road, this club site serves children and teens from the East Allen County Schools, including some children who are homeschooled.

The second annual WE CARE event brought holiday cheer to all our Club members. Initiated by One Eleven Design, our kids each assembled three craft kits to give as gifts to family and friends for the holidays. We are very appreciative to Herman Miller, One Eleven Design and to all the partners who came together to bring smiles and fun to the Club. THANK YOU!

Our Club kids received wonderful Christmas gifts again this year because of the kindness of several of our long term partners. We know we can count on them each year to bring Christmas to the kids at the Club! We are extremely grateful for their generous hearts! THANK YOU!

The Terra Brantley Foundation has chosen Club member Exavionna Roddy as the recipient of the 2020 Smart Girls scholarship.

Just look around, acts of kindness are everywhere! Let’s make giving contagious! Giving Tuesday is a global movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.

The Club has joined the “go green” movement with the installation of 216 solar panels on the roof of the Fairfield club building. This new 83,000 watt system is the largest solar energy system in the city of Fort Wayne.

Thanks to our wonderful partnership with Fort Wayne Community Schools, this fall we incorporated a Boys & Girls Club site within Fairfield Elementary School.
